Thanks Swan. Another interesting game of Jeopardy. I will have to leave it to someone else to answer #8 and #10. My brain is fried. I wish more posters would participate. I know literally nothing about these topics so I have to research so it is a fun learning experience. The only ones I knew were #1 and #2 and I even got #1 wrong at first because I wasn't thinking. It is also a fun family game. All of us racing each other on our computers trying to beat the others with the right answer. It makes for some interesting conversation as well.

Tam

You all did great, Tam. I'm so glad you enjoy these and I do hope others enjoy it as well. Ok, I should have answered #1 What is Tammys brain. The answer to #1 is What are dolphins? Whales too? Not sure.

Hang in there JJ- we're with you!
Tam, yes. Both dolphins and whales get their sleep by keeping half their brains awake while the other half sleeps. They do this because they must conscienciously breathe; they're breathing is not an automatic sympathetic response like ours and many other species on earth. While sleeping, they like to pair up and/ or move in groups for protection. Each half of their brains takes a turn at sleeping. Excellent!
