You can find the numbers under the gov't section of the VI phone book. Check www.viphonebook.com.
You will have to go in and they will sell you a sheet of paper telling you the process and a booklet about the rules of the road. Like, first you need to get a physical and an eye exam, two passport photos, and something else, but I can't remember what it is. Then you will need to make an appointment to take the test. Then again when you fail the test. Then again when you fail it again! Haha! (It's hard!) Then you need make an appointment for a road test. The you have to have someone drive you to the road test and the car has to have a handbrake. Don't forget to adjust your mirrors and fasten your seat belt before you even start the car! I made that mistake! Haha! The whole process seems to take forever, but it's normally a week or two.
Or, you could just get a VI Voter's Registration Card for ID and drive illegally. If you get pulled over, there is a ticket for driving without a license ($25, I think) and someone else hass to drive your car home or have it towed. I drove for years here in STT with no license and I never got a ticket. I just acted out that I was very taken back with the fact that I left all of my documents on the boat, cuz I wasin the BVI yesterday. It's worked for me! Haha! Just don't get pulled over by Officer Edwards! She's tough!
