Hello all,

First and foremost, happy late thanksgiving and an early Kerry Christmas! My fiancée and I are moving to the island (STT) next Sunday. Does anybody know of any apartments on the east end, or the north side? Budget is about $1,200.

Thanks in advance,
Colin

Try Craigslist VI, the What's going on St.. Thomas group on FB, or the Island Trader, issued on Thursdays and viewable online. Your budget is fine for a one br, but your best bet will be to find temporary lodging and then locate a place after you move.
Good luck!

You can usually drive around the North side and find apartment for rent signs posted all over the place on the sides of the road. Have you decided which location would be closer to your work? There is quite a distance between the two locations Island speaking. But if you are coming from the states where you have a two hour commute, then it would like a Sunday afternoon drive.

I've never been able to access the island trader online. Do you have a link that I could follow up on? Thanks for the information!

You might have to wait until you get here to pick one up.
One used to be able to locate it on the Daily News site but didn't find it when I looked. Daily News also has a classified section.

Hardest part will probably be getting lost while trying to follow directions
to view a rental.

Good luck.

I have a subscription, but I thought the trader was available free online Sorry! I can't see here how to add an image. I will try to pm you the images and failing that we can trade e mails and I'll send that way.

I thought it was free online, too, but haven't been able to find the link.
It's free to pick up at many various places so don't know why they don't post the link.
