They stopped issuing that in the VI a few years ago to the best of my knowledge. I called back then and was told it wasn't available any longer for us.

I suggest calling AARP Supplement/United Health 1-844-657-5638. Let us know what you find out please.

It's odd, but on the medicare.gov site it shows no medigap plans are available in the VI.

Website link above shows 7 medigap plans and 1 drug plan in the VI.

I can't find any link to Cigna availability.

AARP people you spoke to were less than helpful. UHC is the only carrier here. Here are the plans available and you can apply online:

Agree on UHC-- I've been using it for a few years now, no problems here or in the states

The crazy part of the AARP medicare supplement plan (type F) is that the premium in stx is so much LESS than what I pay for the same coverage with a stateside address, which I need to use instead of VI. The coverage is not different, but my monthly premium is more than $100 higher.
And yet the prescription plan in stx is a bit different, and has a deductible that I do not have, but the premium is a bit lower

Yep, we pay $$44 and some change for husbands UHC Rx plan. And it's cheaper overall than what we paid them in PA. Go figure.
