Far as I've seen it's still

On St. Croix, the curfew as of Tuesday is 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m., meaning St. Croix residents have between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to conduct their business. On St. Thomas, the curfew is now 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Woowhoo!

The curfew may be from 10 am to 7 pm on STX, but, the authorities rarely bother with motorists in the morning. So, the curfew is effectively sun up to sundown, which is fine for most people.

Business owners get a pass to be out after curfew... it's a white piece of paper.

when my wife is checked I could hold up any white piece of paper and drive through... There is definitely a presence. but it's not the highest level of scrutiny

St. Croix the curfew is now 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., For the St. Thomas-St. John District, the curfew is now 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Mr. Mapp said he would await advice from the V.I.P.D. commissioner, the V.I. National Guard adjutant general, the Department of Public Works commissioner and the Department of Planning and Natural Resources to determine whether the curfew could see further shrinkage by the weekend.

yes it is. i finally am able to go to work but only for 1-2 weeks then laid off until repairs are complete.
but still. after work we like to go out to eat once in a while. hard to do those normal things now . and would be almost impossible to stop on the way home to do some last minute grocery shopping.

Why do you need to be on the road, if it is still one, after dark with no street lights? To much still in the way in light nevermind new in the dark. Oops didn't need that part on my car.

The governor altered the curfew, which he said came as a result of complaints from some individuals who contended that the 8:00 p.m. hour was too late, as most streets are still without lights and the roads are pitch-black. The curfew on St. Croix is now 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.. In the St. Thomas-St. John District, the curfew is now 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

"During his Monday evening press briefing, Governor Kenneth Mapp altered the territory-wide curfew to the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., meaning residents now have between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. to conduct their affairs. The governor said the change was to make allowance for residents eager to watch the World Series, many of whom would predictably watch the games at restaurants with big screens.

Following the end of the World Series on November 1, the curfew will be altered to an earlier time on November 3. During the World Series games, police officers will saturate the roadways at nights to ensure that residents are traveling safe, Mr. Mapp said."

That's so he can go spend your money at the bars with his friends to watch the game. Do not believe he is doing it for you.

It was requested live on 95.1 by one of the DJ's... but I have a feeling they set it up before hand...
