So the new house that my wife and I moved into here in STX has a well that is not being used. Talked to the landlord and he said it was because water was "brackish". Brackish can mean a lot of things in a way and I want to see about pulling a sample of the water to see if it would be suitable for nothing more than gardening/plants. Can anyone tell me in STX who does testing and rough idea of how much ????

Thanks in advance ! ! !

Just had my cistern water tested by them on STX.
$10 to test my filtered water.
$10 to test unfiltered.

They only accept and test samples on Mon, Tue, and Wends.

They supply the containers.

I drive by that place all the time. Small white building sits by itself right on North side of Northside rd with big sign. Can't miss it.

singlefin: Do they test for more than fecal colliform? That is the only thing the EPA tested for when they came by after the storms.

PH
TDS
Total Coliform
Fecal Coliform
E coli

And state EPA Compliancy

*PH and TDS limits are listed.
