Just to let everyone know. We are opening a Thrift Store in Christiansted around the end of January. We will be bringing things from stateside to stock our store. We will carry new and gently used clothing and small household items. Also we will have a personal shopper service to get speciality items from the states for you.
So, it would great of you guys to let me know what kinda things you want or need, as we are shopping and ordering things now to ship in Jan. We are up to most anything as long as it will ship on a pallet. If its clothes, just give us styles and sizes, colors etc... and we will do our best to bring some great things over with us. We will bring anything from plastic spoons to ceiling fans or generators.

TV stands! On STX, it the large etagere type or the cheap fiberboard/plastic things from Kmart. Must be a lot of used TV stands out there, with people switching over to the new TVs that go on the wall or get mounted on a different type of stand.???

How about used dressers? Even in the classifieds, they are expensive here.

Our second container will have furniture in march, our first one will mostly be clothes, shoes, dresses and smallwares. But we are open to suggestions. It's been 4 years since I lived on STX so i'm a lil out of the loop on what is in short supply the most. We will try to help bring good stuff to the island with reasonable prices.
