They are going to get sued and they are going to lose. All mythologies are equal under the law. You can't put Christian symbols up in public places without allowing other mythologies to do the same. Either the statehouse is a public forum or it is not. Satan, Zeus or the Flying Spaghetti Monster should all be allowed, or none should be allowed.

Florida rejected the Satan Temples holiday display this past year, and they will get sued. All or none. The lawmakers can't selectively pich which mythologies are valid and which are not based on their own beliefs.

It would be better for everyone to keep their mythology to themselves. Not in government offices.

God targets England with floods and storms as punishment for gay marriage. Apparently just causing the storms or lightning to just hit the gay weddings is too much for God to handle:

A UKIP councillor has blamed the recent storms and heavy floods across Britain on the Government's decision to legalise gay marriage

I came across this message, and thought it would be good to repost here:

Quote

The character of God in the bible would not be admirable were he your next door neighbor, and yet billions of people put his alleged demands and desires ahead of the peace and happiness of their actual neighbor. It's good to have that drilled into people as often as possible. Religion deserves to be mocked and I'm glad we live in a time period when religions' ability to set themselves in a position immune to mockery is at an end.

Creationist Ken Ham in radio ad: Human intelligence is declining because of sin

Quote

“You see, this is consistent with a biblical view of creation,” Ham said. “The Bible tells us that humans were highly intelligent from the beginning. How do we know? Well, Adam named many animals in a single day, and people before the Flood had musical instruments and were able to construct the Ark. It makes sense that Adam’s brain was probably much more capable than any modern human. Man has degenerated because of sin. It corrupted God’s very good creation.”

Creationists to Neil deGrasse Tyson: Evolution isn’t scientific, but the Book of Genesis is

Quote

“You know, the word ‘science,’ it’s kind of a magical word,” Comfort said. “‘I believe in science.’ It just means knowledge, that’s all it means. There’s different areas of science, different areas of knowledge. When you say the Bible is not a science book, you’re saying it’s not a knowledge book? It tells us how God created the Earth!”

"There is always a simple solution to a problem, when you only have a simple understanding of that problem"
