Because 1=6
2=0
6=1
8=2
Then add them together. We did think of assigning value to each number and trying to figure it out but got distracted by other things. This was a good one Swan. Made us all think.

Thanks.

Excellent try!

But not quite..... This involves no math at all; no adding, subtracting...no math.

Please note:
1=0 and not 6
2=0
6=1
8=2

think WHY.

Think outside of math, because this has nothing to do with math... big grin

Circles.
1443 = 0
8830 = 5
9265 = 2
8555 = 2
7890 = 4
0204 = 2
7654 = 1
9753 = 1
9087 = 4
6664 = 3
1933 = 1
1122 = 0
1268 = ?

1443 no circles

9265 circle in the the 9 and the 6
8555 2 circles in the 8
1268 = 3
circle in 6 and 2 in the 8

So some random #

87653230 = 4
?

Does anyone want to have a little fun? happy

1. What do the following have in common?
A Volkswagen bus, a submarine, the R2-D2, a mailbox, an aircraft, a cemetery plot.

2. What is 5 miles and 876 yards high? What is the other one at 8611 meters high?

3. Define "Ninja of the sky"

4. In miles, how high is the edge of space?

5. In what nearby galaxy does the largest supermassive black hole reside; it is 2000 times the size of Sagittarius A - the supermassive black hold found in the center of our Milky Way Galaxy - and its mass is equal to 6.6 billion of our suns.

Great answer, but not quite accurate. Hint: All of these were put on something else.....

The model of the spaceship from the movie CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND.

All of these appear on some part of the model.

Right.! Looking closely at the model, one can find tiny hidden smaller models which are not seen when the Mother Ship appears in the film. These models were added by the model makers as internal "jokes." Congratulations!

Great! Sagarmatha is the Nepalese name for Mt. Everest; Dapsang, K2 - the killer mountain.
