They may be in luck. Trump will need some people in brown shirts with more brawn than brains should he be elected.

It's funny but I don't see Trump or the GOP shutting down Dem rallies. Brownshirts indeed

I definitely get an Orwellian vibe from your political posts - four legs good, two legs better/we've always been at war with Eastasia

Trump is not an ideal candidate by any stretch but he's filling the void for those that aren't represented by the party elite. Sanders is as well to a lesser extent (it's unfortunate that he's an idiot and doesn't have a basic understanding of economics as he's probably the most honest guy running).

Give it a couple of cycles and we'll get some viable non-establishments candidates (or so I hope)

"During his quarter-century in Congress, Mr. Sanders has been the chief sponsor of just three bills that were signed into law: two renaming U.S. Postal Service offices in his home state of Vermont and one that increased the annual cost-of-living raise for veterans’ benefits, which he secured as chairman of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee in 2013."
"All told, Mr. Sanders introduced 353 bills during 16 years in the House and nine years in the Senate, giving him a success rate of just less than 1 percent."

Out of the lot of these simpletons, if I could vote, I'd vote for Kasich. They are all severely flawed. Hillary may well be indicted, and Bernie's pandering to the anti science woonatics of the left disqualifies him to me even more than his economic pipe dreams.

How many Bernie and Hillary speeches have been interrupted by Trump supporters?

How many Trump speeches have been interrupted by Bernie and Hillary supporters?

The left no longer believes in free speech.

Are you serious? Protest is the essence of free speech.

I doubt Hillary will be indicted.
The GOP is scared shitless of her and manufactures so much BS.

You also aren't seeming to grasp what our right to free speech entails. If the government were interrupting Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, Sanders, or Clinton speeches then their rights would be being violated. Trump is free to make as many outlandish claims as he wants, yet he is not free from rebuke and rebuttal from the people.

I don't recall the democrats ever holding an election for delegates. Have any of you ever voted in the selection process for delegates to the convention?

There is still some bad blood between her and Obama. The DOJ just gave immunity to some of her subordinates. I wouldn't be too sure. This election cycle really is the South Park episode where the choices are a Giant Douche or a Turd Sandwich.

Nor was she or Obama responsible for Bengazi when the republicans voted to defund security after being warned of possible consequences.
Let's see how many died under the Bush's administrations.
Nor have they vetoed bills, consistently, to defund aid to Veterans, amongst others.

This is the game of politics. My family is going through this right now with the VA. Politics aside, Hillary and Bernie are poor candidates on the democrat side, and the republican collection is equally bad or worse.

I might add, while we are entitled to free speech, inciting violence, racism, bigotry, and xenophobia is, in my view, appalling, despicable, and reprehensible.

Lyndon Baines Johnson pulled the wool over the eyes of many and it still continues too this day.
He was the savior of the Democratic party. The sheep still follow.

Ditto mtdoramike! Thanks Rotor for your post on who was president during wars the U.S. was involved in though we didn't start all these wars.

Alana, I don't think any of the republican candidates are misogynist, xenophobic, racist, bigoted or delusional. I certainly hope that they are all pro corporation. You know the companies who employ people?

I own a corporation. It employs 15 people. Up until the last two years all my employees had 100% of their medical and dental payed. Two week sick and vacation payed. At the end of the year all profits that were not reinvested back into the company were divided among the employees as bonuses. I also allow my employees to bring their infants to work until they they are 1.

Two years ago I had to lay off 5 employees. They have had no bonuses or pay raises for the past two years and two years before that I gave them my paycheck for their bonuses. This year I could no longer pay for their medical. I have lowered my own pay to barely cover my living expenses in order not to lay anyone else off. I have been in the states for the most part of the last two years to try and keep the doors open and not lay off any more employees.

My company builds differential pressure gauges. They are used in every power plant, oil field, navy ships, water treatment facilities, cryogenics and in every industry that has to measure differential pressure. This is world wide. Up until 5 years ago we could not keep up with all the work we had. As a direct result of the Obama administration we are struggling to stay afloat.

I am one of those angry people you hear about that are voting for Trump. I remember when America was great. I remember before we started making "bad" deals with other countries. I remember after NAFTA that my home town of Greenville, S.C. went from a prosperous wonderful place to, no jobs at all. For 10 to 15 years it was horrible until SC offered some great tax benefits to lure new business in. Thank God for GE, Michelin who came in and bought new jobs. Yay!!!! Corporations who hire people!!!!!
How long under our current administration do you think it will be before they go to other countries because the cost of doing business here is so high. I remember the Ford plant here in Norfolk, VA. They were great to work for. Now they are gone! Even as they shut down they gave their employees huge bonuses. I'm talking 20 to 40K plus retirement if they were eligible.

I have a machinist from Detroit. You know, everything is pretty shut down there now. Yep! Much cheaper to do business over on the other side of the water. He is a master machinist who cannot find a job. OMG!!! He is worth his weight in gold. I pay him a quarter of what he used to make and he is happy to get it.

I won't even start on Bernie or Hillary but I will tell you that if you start taking money away from people who create jobs and put them out of business then we will have a real mess on our hands. I do, however, respect your and all people opinions and your right to voice them. Not to mention those pesky emails among other things.

Before you call me a racist or anything else, I will tell you that my great grandmothers birth certificate lists her race as black. My other great grandmother a 4'10" Irish woman went to work in a cotton mill at age 7. She never went to school, never learned to read or write. She retired from that same cotton mill at age 67 and considered herself wealthy. She was one of those "dirty Irish" as they were all called back then. Lower than any African.

When I see all these young people who have never had to struggle or work for anything in their lives, black lives matter, MoveOn.org, white privilege, safe places in college, our incredibly PC environment, accusations of racism, transgender bathrooms, it's really easy, If you have a penis, go the mens, if not go to the womens, if you are inbetween go water the nearest tree. Everyone is so upset, insulted, offended, bullying in schools and so on. I really don't get it. I mean, get a backbone people! Personally, I told my kids to kick butt if anyone picked on them. It helped a bit that there was 5 of them.

Ok, now I'm just rambling, trying to decide whether to delete this on post it. It's Sunday and I have "worked" all day on my day off as did my 12 year old son, without pay. Poor little guy, poor me!

I have to add, it just kills me when I hear people say they are going to leave the country if things don't go their way. REALLY??? Do they even vote? This is our country and they are just going to run away if things don't go their way. GO! I guess if I had run away to Mexico when Obama got elected I might be rich now. I didn't even think about it.

Can you provide a link to the bill where the GOP specifically defund security in Benghazi?

Thanks in advance
