You mean Virginia.

Yes, this was a planned assembly by Nazis and White Supremacists called Unite the Right that was legally permitted for downtown Charlottesville. However, the Nazis instead chose to assemble illegally on the UVA campus on Friday without permission from the university. It was meant as visual intimidation on the campus and a call to war.

Many of the protesters were average citizens of Charlottesville protesting the Nazi assemblage as was the young woman run over by the terrorist. Make no mistake - if the Nazis weren't there ANTIFA and BLM would not have been there either. ANTIFA's roots are in WWII resistance in Europe.

Next stop on the tour de Richard Spencer is College Station. After that Gainesville on September 14.

I suggest you read up on Steve Bannon and his ideology. Last I checked, Bannon was still one of Trump's closest advisers.

and how again is trump responsible for what happened in WV???

the white supremacists had permission to be there by law. the other group ( ANTIFA ) came to start trouble. well they got what they came for. and sadly 1 girl is dead because of the melee.

the guy needs to go away for life ( or death ).

but as of right now we still have free speech in this country and they were exercising that right. just like BLM and ANTIFA and Louis farrakan and al sharpton and david duke and all the other hate mongers.

antifa and blm have caused millions , possible billions in damage and no one bats an eye.

Really? Nazis could be recruiting as well.

You cannot have Antifascists without fascists. This is not a chicken/egg scenario.

Fascism is a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

There is so much wrong in your post that it's not worth the time or effort to respond as you view yourself (Much like Alana) as the sole arbiter of the "truth" and the smartest person in the room (LOL).

We just got thru 8 years of propaganda of one type and now we're starting another 4. Failure to admit this shows a fundimental flaw.

I really have no idea what you're talking about that is based on facts and not conspiracy theories in reference to the "past administration," whatever that means.

So, please enlighten me. Breitbart, Fox, and Alex Jones don't count because these publications only propagate propaganda that you want to believe. If you think the truth emulates from these outlets - you've are naïve and gullible. As soon as you toss around the terms liberal, leftist and cry you out yourself as vulnerable to the latest white nationalist catch phrases.

If you want to be taken seriously, think for yourself - because there are some cogent arguments in favor of Trump that have nothing to do with ripping the political beliefs of others. Obama is not president any more. Clinton lost the election. Get over it.

Trump does a pretty good job of assassinating his own character on Twitter without any help from the "leftist" media LOL.

So they do what liberals do best, they cry and asassinate his character. They pass along the word of the leftist media like it is fact.

Complete BS

You had AntiFA groups rioting without the KKK/etc

It's hilarious to see them called anti FA as they are facists under a different flag. Do you condone their anti First ammendment actions?

even VOX, a liberal site, doesnt state who started the riots . and yet you can state with certainty that it was all the white supremacists fault.

what i posted shows the violence that antifa does if they dont like what is being said , the very definition of fascits

[www.merriam-webster.com] -forcible suppression of opposition. exactly what ANTIFA is doing.
but i guess thats okay because they are liberals. i guess the millions of dollars lost to their violence and destruction is okay.

typical hypocrite

Facts can be bent, the truth cannot. I don't need pundits and op eds to decipher facts and distill the truth for me.

Journalists are flawed truth seekers that cannot divorce personal filters. Pundits and propagandists purposely spin information to support a political agenda and call it news. Unfortunately, most people don't know or care that there is a difference.

Alana has every right to rant about Trump. Girl is living in the Villages so she is limited in her ability to do this off-line. LOL

Facts cannot be "bent". Their interpretation can be manipulated.

Truth is relative to ones views

Journalists/pundit - a distinction without a difference.

I don't disagree. But you cannot have Antifascists without Fascists (or at least the fear of fascism rising).

I would call ANTIFA anarchists. They are chaos seekers. Fascists seek authoritarian governance. Quite different motives.

Just because neo Nazis "sig heil" Trump does not mean he's a Nazi supporter - we know he ABSOLUTELY IS NOT. It just means Nazis see in Trump something to salute.

Who knew that 100 years later Nazis and ANTIFA would be street fighting in the US?

you cant blame trump for that. but you can blame hillary for literally calling BYRD ) a known KKK member ) her mentor. yet that always gets swept under the rug.

It's laughable that anyone views the AntiFA as anti-authoritarian/anarchist. They would gladly use the power of the state to send their foes to re education camps.

I guess those Hammer and Sickle flags are just for show.

Hillary lost the election and no longer is relevant.

Glad you were supportive of President Barack Obama.

Actually I had great hope of him solving the racial issues in our country, but instead he divided us more than we were before. I really thought it was a great thing that so many people supported him at the time he was elected. Having a Black president was to me proof of how far we had come as Americans. As far as I can see, other than greatly expanding the welfare rolls, I have no idea what he did to help black people. Yes I was very disillusioned, however he was my President. I never thought it would help him in any way to call him names like you do to our current president.
I firmly believe that Trump wants to support inner cities by getting the economy moving and bringing opportunities to everyone. His vision assumes everyone wants the chance to earn a living. I'm not sure that is the American dream for everyone.

I had to repost this. Of all the comments made, this one has to be closest to how a lot of us feel.

Vice's video about white supremacists in Charlottesville

[boingboing.net]

This is what your president has promoted and fostered throughout his campaign and up to this day.

It's hard to believe what I've watched.
This is not Nazi Germany which we fought a World War about.
This is sickening but this is what trump is leading us to.
If you watched him on his campaign trail, you know who and what he is and what he's all about. There is no defense of this parasite.
