I don't find it funny nor do millions of others.
I find it exceedingly dangerous and you should, too.

If he really wants to "protect" America, why isn't Saudi Arabia and Egypt on the ban instead of countries where terrorists don't come from? I forgot. He has business ties in those countries that actually do train terrorists.

I think his actions are making America a larger, (I mean "yuge"wink target as well as a laughing stock. He is morally unprincipled and ethically challenged. He cannot handle the power given and is totally UNFIT to be potus.

I have friends that practice the Muslim faith. They are Americans.
They are hard working, intelligent, kind, lovely people.
They do not deserve to be treated with suspicion and disrespected. America is a land of immigrants. That's how this country was founded.
If you want to get technical, the only people who BELONG here are the Indians whom we continue to screw over.
WE ALL CAME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Trumplethinskin's mother and father were immigrants, most of his wives are.

Me too, at least he is making some kind of attempt at stopping extremist from coming in, which is more than I can say for Germany, France and some of the other countries. I'll bet Canada hey is re-thinking their we'll take them all mentality after their little brush with extremist. They were fortunate for awhile, but me thinks it's their time now.

Evil will only triumph, when good people do nothing, when there is something to do, not just because a few who doesn't like something wants to change it for everyone.

I just wished the left felt the same way about the people of this country and shed a few tears for all the dead folks at the hands of extremist and all the young people killed in Chicago as they do for foreigners who made their countries what they and rather than standing up and fighting and giving up THEIR lives for THEIR country, they tuck tail and head for the nearest border.

"It's not a travel ban it's a vetting system" even if POTUS says it is. And when he realizes the existing vetting system that takes two years to approve visas is already as extreme as it gets............

Just a show to make his base think he's being tough on terrorism. If he really wanted to make an impact (other than stranding permanent residents around the globe), he would have been pushing concrete steps to combat home grown terrorism, where most of our terrorists come from, and internet recruitment . . . Instead, ISIS is celebrating and already using the ban as a recruiting tool, and we face alienating Muslims we rely on for intel.

It was recklessly written, without input from appropriate agencies, and it was implemented before there was a process in place, which caused chaos and confusion. It's highly doubtful it kept any "bad dudes" out. But there are still people in limbo, waiting to travel.

I'm not a conspiracy nut, but given the recklessness, and the administration's complete disregard for acknowledging the criticism (from Congress, the ambassadors, and the acting AG), the inference that this is actually a shock event makes sense.

Oh, and Mike, you really need to get out more and talk to some liberals. To presume we have no empathy towards victims of any atrocity, simply because we have differing opinions on cause and how to fix, is just plain ignorant. And I'd like to see how you would defend yourself when your attacker is heavily armed.

REVEALED: Trump registered EIGHT new companies in Saudi Arabia during US election campaign

PRESIDENT-ELECT Donald Trump registered eight new companies in Saudi Arabia during his campaign to reach the White House, it has been revealed.

There are way too many conflicts of interest with this presidency.
Y'all would've been screaming your heads off if President Obama had done half the things this unfit xenophobic miscreant has done in just 11 days since taking the oath of office to protect and defend our constitution.

how is businesses in Saudi a conflict of interest?

We are pretty close allies with Saudi, if you haven't noticed, that mostly started with the LAST administration where Obama did all of those things, the "muslim ban" was just Obama's list used again.. Obama supported Saudi Arabia in attacking Yemen, and now we are still supporting Saudi..

I read the text. Unfortunately, chaos happened with this EO's shotgun implementation and permanent residents WERE stranded.

This is absolutely new. Obama's restriction applied to Syria only, and it was triggered by an actual threat, not a made up, fear-mongering one. The 7 countries Obama identified, were part of a separate issue, not his "ban".

Real news is a real thing.

If it weren't for Obama there would be no refugee crisis. The ludicrous foreign policy of the last 8 years has led this.

Oh? I guess the Bush administrations had nothing to do with any wars or the actual creation of ISIL, refugees and the absolute mess President Obama inherited

Bush era was a hot mess and the cause of if not most at the very least quite a bit of the hostility in the middle east and I would say helped to create Isil as well as coming as close to another depression as we have come to since the 20's. Wars are not free and that is one of the things I have to applaud President Obama for is not being lured into another war like they tried to do with Syria and the red line. I was no fan of President Bush the younger nor the father.

Although I'm a conservative, I have no problem pointing out faults on both sides and praising either side when I agree with something that they have done.

Yeah, cuz you can't get THAT many 1sts as a president right? 3 wars at one time would be a bit too much.
But hey, he did get to clinch the title of "president at war through two full terms"

I dunno, I think the drone program was far more damaging to the US than a war would have been....

I have to wonder where every single person that lives here, moved here and posts here and/ or in the USA originated from?

Why did your ancestors flee/move their country of origin?
Religious freedom?
War?
A better way of life?
What?
What does the statue of liberty stand for?
I'm disgusted.

Y'all are such hypocrites!

Why don't you all go back to where your ancestors came from?

The people that want too come to the US for the reasons that you listed above are certainly welcome too. Provided they do it legally and want to become Americans and share in the American way of life. If they want to sneak in here or overstay their visa than they need to be sent home. Period, they are here illegally. If they don't agree with our way of life and we have reason too believe they want to cause harm to an American citizen, they need to be barred from entry. Yes some of my relatives immigrated from different parts of Europe, some were here from before Europeans came. None of them came illegally. Then people came and assimilated as one people with common goals.

My ancestors legally immigrated here, by choice & from a country that doesn't have an obvious cultural conflict with the west, nor suicide bombings.

how is this relevant though?

90 days to figure @#$%& out is pretty damn reasonable... we have some of the loosest immigration restrictions in the world (of developed countries, EU = excluded).

I'm sure you can easily look it up.
It's a long and arduous process.

I'm going to stop posting here as the majority of y'all think trumplethinskin is the cat's meow while I believe that he, his cabinet and this republican administration is a clear and present threat to America and Americans.
Maybe reality vs "alternative facts" will kick in.
Maybe you'll get sick of the facts that he's disbanding and a danger to protections put in place to help our clean air, waters, environment, civil rights to name, just a few.

Ditto. I've heard/read plenty on the existing vetting which sounds exhaustive. Is there a proposed new one yet? I assume not yet, wasn't the 90 days ban supposed to be time to review the existing vetting and come up with new safer vetting and implement it by the end of 90 days? So presumably the administration is already busy reviewing that existing vetting process. Unless they're too distracted figuring out how to get the ban re-instated to actually review the existing vetting process.
