Volunteering for the holidays?

Is there any organizations or groups looking for volunteers with the holidays coming up?
We will have just arrived on STX before Thanksgiving, and won't be flying home for the holidays - we'd like to help out where we can in our new community.
Any thoughts?

I think the Animal Welfare Center is a good cause!

The Animal Welfare Center always needs help, and has many special events if you are interested in doing a one time or two time thing. Contact me for more info or call 340 778 1650 (the main desk at the center).
