Colony Cove - Buildings A, B & C are basically OK... Buiilding D - which faces the beach - has lost all of the roof, and is essentially ruined... It will be a MAJOR rebuild for that block... Landscaping took a hit, but most of the complex survived. The other condo row properties retained their roofs, but I hear that ground floor condo's in Mill Harbor took in some water.by Steve L - General/Relocating

Galangal is good but expensive - and the owner guy seems to think that he is doing you a favor by letting you in... I like the Bombay Club - nice atmosphere and pretty OK food, plus great A/C... Rum Runners seems to be more of a local's expat drinking place these days. The food is just OK, but the location is great... 40 Strand is excellent - I have never had a poor meal there, and I haby Steve L - General/Relocating

We have done this - bought at Colony Cove 3-4 months ago as a preparation for moving permanently in 2-3 years. There are some issues... Firstly - and most importantly, DO NOT buy if you need to make money from your apartment immediately. There is plenty of STX property on VRBO and elsewhere, and it takes time to build a rental following. Make sure you can pay the outgoings out of your norby Steve L - General/Relocating
