There are other posts within the year on this that name a private airline that will transport pets if you run the search. Just can't recall the names. Also, private pilots.by Moinstx - General/Relocating

Re: StX Restaurant Ratings - 3 months ago
I have noticed this same thing at Brew from the bartenders. Don't go to the boardwalk that often but it happened several times there! Also from the older, big grey haired guy at Shupe's. It's like check to see if someone is standing there needing something with $ outstretched in hand before you wash glasses for 5 minutes or just stand there. The You Are Here bartender has been good though.by Moinstx - General/Relocating

Re: Power outage East end St. Croix - 7 months ago
Power is back in Hermon Hill. So grateful. Not so sure certain roads should be open on St. Croix. Just past Arawak Camp (the road you take to casino and Boy Scout Camp) there is a downed light pole with wires. Caution flags are tied to it, but that road is dark. Someone just crashed into tbe wires tonight. He's o.k. It comes up on you suddenly there. Be safe and take care driving, all....by Moinstx - General/Relocating
Re: Power outage East end St. Croix - 7 months ago
There has been no power in Hermon Hill since dawn the day of Irma. I know each area is different in terms of who comes on next but.... we depend on a cistern for our water and have no means to run the pump. The rainwater we collected has been used. I know it has been coming on in other spots sporadically on St. Croix, to include Beeston Hill across the street, but I am wondering if any consideratby Moinstx - General/Relocating

QuoteEast Ender Quotedapperdan824 ... they do seem to be pretty disorganized. They're polite enough they just don't seem to keep track of things well. HA! Welcome to the Virgin Islands! Unfortunately, this level of organizational skills is pretty common in every government agency. When you pay your taxes, you get a stamped copy. When you pay bills, you get a stamped copy. Does Kurt Schindler still play music on the island? Those were some wild parties in general with an eclectic crowd. I heard that nude sunbathing used to occur wayy down the beach at Haypenny. That was years ago though and seems dangerous to venture to the way reaches of anyplace now.by Moinstx - General/Relocating

I am able to make a reservation for my dog but he is small enough to travel in the cabin in a carrier fitting under the seat in front. Just booked him on American and he gets his own record locator number, even. Delta puts him in their system as well for the cabin flight. I shipped a lot of items down in boxes via the USPS when I moved and checked with a real estate agent to find a rental thatby Moinstx - General/Relocating

Re: Dog Groomer here needs moving advice - 1 year ago
With respect to St. Croix, there are 3 dog groomers that I am aware of. One operates out of a vet's office where she also works. The other two have their own store fronts and at least one of them (the one that I use) appears quite busy. You should consider operating an animal boarding facility on the side with higher-end as well as lower budget options.by Moinstx - General/Relocating

On St. Croix: Are u missing a long haired black chihuahua? - 1 year ago
On St. Croix: several times between 6:30 & 7:30 p.m. tonight I saw a small, long-haired black Chihuahua running alongside the main road across from the mailboxes at the road that gets you to Questa Verde condos. It was too scared to come to me and I didn't see a collar. Not on Facebook to post on the lost pets forum but hopefully it finds its way home. It may have run into Beeston Hill gymby Moinstx - Community
