I was wondering after reading that St Croix has the highest number of poor children of all the 3 islands, is their a toy drive for the holidays? Does anyone have information they can post here?

Thanks
Iris

Hello Iris,

Here are a couple holiday drives I know of:

St. Croix:

On the 16th for the Sunset Jazz there is:

"The Frederiksted Ecomomic Development Association, Inc. is asking that all concert goers bring at least one non-perishable food item for donation to Our Brother's Table. This center provides regular meals for the homeless and hungry of our community and Sunset Jazz in Frederiksted is hopeful that with the help of our wonderful, giving concert goers we'll collectively be responsible for stocking the pantries of Our Brother's Table. Rev. Ron Koopmans will be in attendance under the OBT tent that will be set up to collect the wealth of donations that are certain to come!"

St. Thomas:

"On Saturday, December 17th between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Family Resource Center (FRC) will be setting up a table outside of K-Mart TuTu to solicit donations of toys and household items for the Women and Children’s Shelter. Please stop by the informational table and find out about their services, and find out how you can assist victims of crime. No donation is too little. If you are able, and would like to mail or drop off a donation to Family Resource Center, Inc. they are located at: 2317 Commandant Gade 16B & 17, St. Thomas, VI 00802"
