Since these islands were owned by the Danish, expect even MORE repressed sexuality (in public at least) than in the US.

If you wear a bikini anywhere but the beach you are looked down on.. I've been walking down the middle of a street, beer in hand when the cops pulled up and told me "You cant do that here"... then they told me to put a shirt on, and drove off after I did.

So "open fun" doesn't really exist here like that; I'm sure you can find other outlets but it will take some time "on the ground" and it would probably be out west near sandcastles... haha

Does Kurt Schindler still play music on the island? Those were some wild parties in general with an eclectic crowd.

I heard that nude sunbathing used to occur wayy down the beach at Haypenny. That was years ago though and seems dangerous to venture to the way reaches of anyplace now.

My teenagers suggested that Jacks & Issac's out in the far east end was the bare ass beach.

I see him almost every weekend at rainbow beach, he's definitely around.

I have seen nude people on occasion out at Isaac Bay, including two darkly tanned old biddy ladies with fake boobs, once! Not sure I wanted to see that. Also have seen a few naked men here and there.

I find it humorous that a "culture" that abhors the idea of a nude beach has no problem dry humping in parades  for all including children to see.

I wish or would like to hear back from "Happy Couple". Maybe they're still here...or moved along by now. But Im quite certain people know there are a number of beaches around that you can enjoy some all over sun. They're not every where...but they're there...and Beautiful. I own a home here...been coming here for 22 yrs.

Hate to tell ya...but adults have adult fun...ALL OVER THE WORLD.

Believe it....or not...even vacationers enjoying the nice warm sun, a well deserved get way from up north and perhaps some rum...also have been known to have some adult fun.

Pshhh, to those who are saying STX is the wrong place for adult fun:  I say you're just looking in the wrong places.  There's adult fun all over the island.  Just gotta know the right people. 😉
