Best Pizza On St Croix---U ARE HERE CSTED

2nd time in months had pizza at U ARE HERE in Christiansted.

Nice "pie" with a nice crust which was a take home piece was a nice snack right from fridge at 2:00AM.

Owner came to our table, and happy to hear our feedback.

Like Blues Barbeque--------who has best burgers on the island, cant stop thinking about my next visit to U ARE HERE for a "pie:

Yea that's it. Kim always takes us there and we get the Tine (chefs name) special. It's so good!

Lost Dog......Hands Down.

If you get the pizza at You Are Here, the personal one is a thin crust and really tasty but the larger pizzas are like eating loaf of bread.
Just had one the other night at Christiansted Jazz.

I agree with gonetropo! I, personally thought it was horrible! I love a flat thin crust, but, you are right, like a loaf of bread! Love their Shrimp Corndogs, though.

i like plaza pizza too, never had u are here pizza but have heard good things. i do not like off the wall-not consistent. i do miss vinny's/flat iron grill. i liked their pizza tjhe most. tutto bene can be good. never had lost dog either

I'm partial to Tutto Bene and Blue Water Terrace pizza....but I don't live out West (Lost Dog is too far away).

Hmmm..........make my own..........thin, crisp flatbread dough, onions, garlic, mushrooms, red bell pepper, bacon, olive oil, little bit of sauce and lots of cheese. Yum........ gotcha Mike.......LOL ;o)

I'm partial to Tutto Bene and Blue Water Terrace pizza....but I don't live out West (Lost Dog is too far away).

Best depends on where you grew up I think. Chicago pizza vs NY pizza bog difference.

Dittos on backyard blues burgers. Outstanding! Best ever.

I haven't tried Lost dog...........................tried everywhere else posted. Liking the thick crust U ARE HERE is my vote for best on St Croix for pizza.

Thin crust, OFF THE WALL.....and do miss the pizza from Flat Iron Grill.

I buy dough ball from Napoleon's and make one at home. I have a round pizza stone and cook it on my Webber BBQ. I can get the gas BBq up to 500 degrees. Keeps the heat out of the house and has a slightly Smokey flavor like a wood burning oven. Saves $$$

Do you preheat the stone? Or place it in with the pizza on it?

Went to you are here last night to try the pizza but did n't end up liking it.

I had a personal size pizza with Pepperoni.

The menu describes the crust as not to thick/not to thin but I found the crust fairly thick. Not Chicago thick but thicker than in the middle. When I tasted it I got a very strong tomato tang but there wasn't enough cheese to moderate it. It felt like a band with a missing insturment. Rather than the tomato, crust and bread combining it felt like bread (not crust to me) and tomato with just a little cheese. Also most of the pepperoni was out by the cust where it got fairly dark in baking. I'd have liked to have seen a bit more in the middle.

In thier defense I like thinner crust. I also love their wings and salads and will definetley keep going there.
