I'm moving down in December time frame... I would like to bring a clipping from my family's fig tree. Can I bring that with me? Is it a U.S. Customs thing? Thanks

They don’t seem to control what comes in.  But they definitely control what goes out. However, I do believe you are supposed to have a permit. http://www.vifishandwildlife.com/Education/Permits/PermitInfo.htm
