I'd highly recommend walking the docks and restaurants/bars in Red Hook, Yacht Haven [talk to the bartenders and staff at Fat Turtle and the boat crews loading in front of the cruise ship docks] and Compass Point to try to meet some people. Go have breakfast or lunch at Cariga's, meet people and let them know. Season is already kicking up but it's all about who you know and how you present yourself.

Go to some of the websites that are advertising day charters and make some phone calls, take the people out for coffee or beers to have a conversation, and hopefully you'll get something lined up quickly.

Good luck!

Call or stop by the Virgin Islands Charter Yacht League. 340-774-3944. Erik Ackerson is the director. Office is in Yacht Haven Grande, one of the buildings closest to Havensight.

He/they might be able to tell you who's looking.
