I have not had Chinese food in the nearly 6 months living on island and have a serious hankering for some! Recommendations?

My friend pays $8 to eat the lunch buffet. He highly recommends it.

I like the place inside the golden rock shopping center much better, both food wise and price wise. I find golden wok/Sam woo/china panda food to be variable to dreadful. Also the owner/manager parks right in front of the door--always a bad sign. For the money China Jade in SI is better and more consistent.

Our favorite place for Chinese food and definitely above any other Chinese place on island is Beijing in Peter's Rest. It is in the little strip mall just west of Plaza East. Excellent food everytime and at a very good price. Open for lunch & dinner.

I second Fung Kong in Golden Rock shopping center. Good food & good value - best General Tso's I've found on island.

Well, went to Bejing and it was fantastic. Thank you all for the suggestions (and if you go, make sure you ring the doorbell to be let in..at first I thought they might also be closed but they will ring you in 😉

We like Asia Restaurant in La Reine Shopping Center (a few doors left of Pueblo). It's popular and the prices are great, but the ambience sux, so almost everybody gets their order to go. The House Soup is awesome.
