Container Shipping and Delivery

I'm interested in learning more about the options available when your shipping container (furniture and household goods) arrives in St Croix from the states. Is the shipping container itself delivered to your home for unpacking? Or are its contents transferred over to a truck for delivery to your home on St Croix? And are there reliable companies available that provide the manpower to deliver and unload your household goods into your new home? And finally, what are the approximate costs for these services (delivery to your home and unloading, assuming a full 40 ft container). Thanks in advance for any and all info. We're planning to relocate to St Croix soon and we're just trying to figure out the logistics (and costs) to getting settled into our new home.

I recently had a 20' container delivered. I used Ferrol Trucking to deliver it, from the port to my property on the east end. I purchased the container, packed and unpacked it myself. Cost for one-way delivery for me was about $400.
If your returning it after it's unpacked, (round trip to port) it was less expensive.
I don't believe Ferrol will unload it, however I'm sure someone else here could point you in the right direction for that.

Delivery each way is less expensive.

And, the loaded container itself will be delivered to your property.
