Just checked the radar. Looks like shades of the gully washer from last month! Don't want to hear any songs from Mudslide Slim!!

There was this big, chronic puddle on the Northshore Rd in Salt River STX that was being fed by runoff from the hills from the massive rain we had a month ago. The puddle had just about disappeared, and now it'll probably be full again for a couple more weeks.

I know that puddle! I out-Jeeped a Jeep there in my little not-so-island-friendly (but 10 years old and paid for so I shipped it down) sports car. The Jeep was sitting there, hesitating, sizing up the puddle, facing me from the other side. I had already been through the puddle an hour earlier and knew it was shallow, so after waiting a moment and realizing the Jeep wasn't going to go for it, I plunged right through. The look on the driver's face was priceless... he seemed sure my little car would be swallowed up by the puddle.
