I've been looking around at apartments and I'm having a hard time finding one that will accept a dog.
I just purchased the puppy... I'm going to need some company when I move down in 5 months.

If it is a protection breed it will be so much the harder to get someone to rent to you... might want to re-sell the puppy until you are settled, then get one.

It is a bull terrier.. so yes it is a protective breed. But a dogs personality reflects an owners. He Will be well trained and nice. I knew getting him would cause problems for the move, but when I saw him I had to get him.

Bull terriers are known for their good personalities more than as good protection. They are fun, funny dogs.

Most of the rentals are in the Avis, not online. With or without a dog I would not rent till I had seen the place in person. Its a renters market right now so it shouldn't be that hard, but you will prolly not get your perfect place with a dog. We came with three and adopted one more and also had two cats when we came. I never really had a hard time finding a place, but never did find a place with a fence. So we always put one in. It's not cheap but it will protect your pet.
