Does anyone know if a list exists of which flights arrive on STX from which cities and on which days? I'm having trouble keeping up with all the options.

LOL, seriously, all the options 🙂 ?!?!

Looks like imissmydog got them all, in 4 lines of text 🙂 They'll change again though after season ends.

Thanks for the info.

I thought the ATL flight was daily, but it looks like think it has changed. I've been looking for flights on a Friday in Feb, March and April and they don't exist.

I guess I meant to say, "all the changes." It seems like the airlines are always shifting the days they fly to STX. For instance, my previous post.

I just booked some flights through www.VAYAMA.com ...and expedia-like agency, and their prices were significantly lower than what I was able to find on Expedia, Orbitz, Kayak, or Travelocity.

Saved $232 over Expedia and Orbitz on a flight from Denver to StX this Christmas season.

Better connections too.

Yeah, that part is annoying....and I wasn't trying to be insulting or anything. I just wish we had more air travel options, at least if the ones we had were consistent/daily like most places it would be easier to follow!

We are like the red-headed stepchild of the airlines...even Stanford owned an airline here for a while (Caribbean Sun that codeshared with US Airways).

Stay away from Delta...Those rotten, do good...SOBs.. etc ....Cancelled/ changed our RSVP 3 times on the same trip with out even notifying us.
By the time they got done with us it cost us and extra $500 and when we asked for some compensation.... not so much as a free drink.
Also, our RSVP was from Denver to STX and after all the changes, Delta would only take as far as SJU or STT and we had to pay to get to STX.
Now that is was I call "special" customer service

Yeah, I had big problems with Delta this summer. We were supposed to take the Atlanta flight home on a Monday, but they cancelled their Monday service while I was up north, and I had to miss part of a family reunion to fly home Sunday instead. Then the Atlanta airport was closed that morning, so we sat on the runway in Ohio for 45 minutes, and we only arrived in the Atlanta airport 30 minutes before our STX flight was supposed to take off. (We figured lots of other people were late also, due to the airport closure an hour earlier.) We ran our butts off but guess what - the plane pulled away from the gate 5 minutes early, so we missed it anyway. Even though we were IN THE TERMINAL and the airport had BEEN CLOSED so I would assume a lot of people were late for their connections. I don't know how they stay in business.

Meanwhile, that was the last flight to STX until Wednesday. How could they not hold it until the scheduled time at the very least?? And I didn't even want to fly on Sunday in the first place! They finally flew us to STT, put our bags on the flight to STX (broke one), and FINALLY agreed to pay for our trip back from STT to STX. So sweet.

I fly about 100,000 miles a year to/from the island. My advice, American is the best way to go. I used to fly US Airways, when they dropped daily service direct to STX I flew to SJU and hopped on their partner Caribbean Sun. But any airline that doesn't have daily service to the island is a crapshoot if you take a delay or something cancels. The only airline that provides consistent and frequent service to STX is American. They may not be great in all aspects but this alone makes them the most hassle free way of reliably getting here. If you miss your flight from MIA they can re-route you to SJU and then on Eagle here. They are really the only airline with a good number of options. Even if they come in at $50-100 more on some flights (which they usually do not, Delta can be very high), it is worth it to avoid the hassle of a cancellation on an airline that only flies here a few days a week.

Just my .02...although if I lived in ATL Delta would be VERY tempting, same for US Airways on weekends from CLT.

This is all pretty disconcerting to me. I generally fly Continental to SJU and take Cape Air over because I can use my miles on Cape. But this time, I didn't have enough miles for a ticket, so opted to fly Delta (CLE-ATL-STX) on a Wednesday--cheapest fare I could find with a really good itinerary. Seems to me the Wednesday flight is solid--it always shows up when I do searches--so I'm hoping we don't have any trouble with that one.

Contiental isn't a bad option as at least Cape runs frequent flights!

Good luck on your Delta flight, odds are you'll be fine!
