Good evening:

I'm fielding my options for a new standby generator at my house on St. Croix, and would appreciate recommendations on which local dealers to consult. So far, I've inquired with Quality Electric. All other suggestions and opinions are welcomed.

Thank you!

We bought ours on-line through Northern Tools and Equipment's website and had it shipped to VI Cargo in Florida. They shipped it on to STX. We got it on sale and could not touch the price on STX, even with shipping.

I got a Honda EU2000i for $1024 and free shipping to PR 6 months ago. Great, quiet, light, effiecent, machine. It's only 1600 watts continuous. Wont start a 1/2HP waterpump.

I used them to install and service a 60 KW SDMO diesel genset

I bought a 7KW propane genset from Maine Diesel and generator with free shipping to Miami and VI Cargo to STX total cost was @ $2300 with transfer switch
