The Virgin Islands Bar Association, in partnership with the ABA, FEMA, and the Louisiana Civil Justice Center, has launched a free disaster legal services hotline for those who need legal assistance in the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

By dialing 800-310-7029, residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands can call to request disaster-related legal assistance between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Atlantic, from Monday to Friday. Callers who qualify for assistance will be matched with volunteer lawyers licensed to practice law in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
