Hi All!

We will be in STT Oct 2019 to scout out a location to set up a kayak rental spot.

2 things:

Does Havensight or Crown Bay allow Kayakers in that water by the ships?

Is there an off season where the ships dock less than usual or is it busy all the time?

Thank you,

Heather

Crown Bay (where the ships dock) is a seaport under the VI Port Authority. It is called Austin "Babe" Monsanto Marine Terminal. You can contact the VI Port Authority to ask them about regulations related to vessels approaching or being near to ships, or in the vicinity. While asking them about it, also ask them about the Charlotte Amalie waterfront area which is also under their care. And probably worth asking about Havensight too.

Havensight (where ships dock) is the West Indian Company Dock, you can contact them to ask about their regulations.

Two nearby marinas are listed below, as it seems you have interest in being close to the ship docking areas:

Crown Bay Marina: http://www.crownbay.com/

Yacht Haven Grande: http://www.igy-yachthavengrande.com/
