Hi all,

I broached this subject a couple of years ago and got a few responses about therapists, however, I realize many people come and go here and wanted some updated feedback from all of you.

Some particulars first: I am a LMBT myself, have been for 23 years (9 years here in the VI), I am a movement practitioner as well, many old dance injuries and desperately need regular work. I LOVE Kelley Copley (One Love) but with her nursing and mom commitments, it is almost impossible to get on her table these days! Have tried Tropical Therapy, Barbara Schindler and another person she has/had working in her space, woman at Tamarind Reef....still looking...

Shout out or PM me your favorites on STX and who I should try! Thanks!!

Yea the Tamarind Reef lady is the one I know of. I have been meaning to make an appt with her - I had my hair down there in the same studio. One of my friends goes there pretty regularly and loves it.

AandA2VI, trying to nicely put that I was not happy with her work (or the others listed), hence continuing the search. Glad your friend loves it but I cannot say the same. Still looking....anyone??

Oldie1, I had Debra at Tropical - speee1dy, tried the Buc but prefer not to have "spa massage" experience of only 50 minutes/80 minutes, then get rushed off the table...I don't work that way in my practice and don't like going somewhere that does (also, resort spas charge a mint and the therapists get very little of that - totally don't dig that!). Jumbie75, I will try Beach Massage and see what I think.

Thanks, all for the feedback! I was rather spoiled on STT with a choice of 3 or 4 whose work 'fit' me...

I haven't had the luxury of a massage in a very long time but having it in my own home was simply wonderful! There were a few therapists on STT who did house calls and being able to totally relax and dissolve into a blob at home totally negated having to somehow drop off the table, get dressed and drive home while in (unsafe for operating machinery) blob mode. 😀 Hope you're soon able to find the right person to set you right!

TELL ME ABOUT IT! I haven't had. A massage here because I'm so spoiled with one lady at Marriott. Plus we would go and get a couples massage and spend the day in the spa. We have nothing like that here with pools, steam rooms, relaxation lounge etc. which is why I haven't spent the money here to get one. I figured carambola would have something similar but nope. Such a shame. Every time we go to STT for a get away I spend the day there.

Please lmk when you find a good one here!

Have you tried Juli Vaughn? She comes to our house. My wife and I are very pleased with her. Jeff

Kimd, yes, I have...Singlefin and Oldie, I believe I met Sandra when I was called in to do some work at the Buc (she does, or did, do some work there, if it is who I am thinking of). I will give her a try, too. OldTart, yes, one gets spoiled when a therapist comes to your house! 2 of the 3 ladies I traded services with in St. Thomas would come to you...personally, as a therapist, I have always had my own space where people come to me and only did outcalls if the client had their own table (too much trouble and time to do outcalls, imo, and I found that you never knew what 'environment' the client had for the session - showed up at one location for a 'beachfront massage' and the mosquitos were so bad, the session was ridiculous! For me, anyway! Another one I showed up for had about 3 inches on any side of the table in order for me to work....just not my bag, but more power to the ones who do!). AandA2VI, will let you know what I think and/or if I get my own space (speee1dy, you too) - may sound a bit boastful, but I have been told I do great work myself! 😉
