Hearing it coming is always interesting and then you feel the motion.
Surprised you didn't hear or feel it OT as you are not too far from my location and we have a nice little shake-up.
Glad that's all it was.

There have been quite a few alerts happening lately but this one was the only one I have felt in awhile.

One of the dogs barked,,, the cat flew down the stairs, my desk (especially the monitor) SHOOK, and I did a little speed -praying!

Alana what are you using for these alerts? I paid for and downloaded the NOAA app and it sucks. I think im missing something here as I dont really have any alerts and would like some lol.

I get free alerts sent to my e-mail from:

USGS - VI-Alert

Good to have tho the earthquake anouncements come after the fact as do other things as well but tis de tropics, mon!

Check the site.
They may alert via text but I don't text so e-mail is my choice of contact.
Yes, I know. I am an anachronism.

There have been lots of earthquake alerts for our region, lately.
Usually you don't feel them unless shallow and nearby in origin.

We get on average about 150 earthquakes a month here. Sometimes I get 10 or more VI Alerts in a 24 hour period.

They happen sop frequently, I don't even think about it any more.
