Who takes passport photos on STX? Tried Hughes at Sunny Isle twice, they never seem to be open.

Try again after today.
Many businesses take off and close shop between Christmas Eve and until the day after 3 Kings Day, which is tomorrow.

In Golden Rock Shopping Center there's a photography shop in the breezeway between the two buildings.

They were gone( empty) last time I was there a few months ago.

Yes, I felt very stupid after getting my passport pic at a stateside Walgreen's. The guy pulls out a little digital camera and then tells me to stand against the wall. I'm perplexed and thinking that I could have done this myself and saved $10-15.

Just buy some photo paper for your printer. I used an ink jet printer and had no objections from the pass port office.

Just make sure you read the specifications for how the photo is to be taken and trim it precisely to size.

I got mine today at a little photo shop behind the market on King Street beside the Post Office. Took five minutes, cost $15. Very nice guy, and a veteran.

Thanks guys! I was able to get it yesterday at Hughes. Thank goodness this holiday season that drags out forever, is over. Now, back to business.

Using an expediter such as ItsEasy to get a US passport almost doubles the cost.
