I am sure there are some hispanic resturants on island that offer them. Maybe some other posters can advise you. If you want to make them on your own you can probably find ingredients at Plaza Extra.

Try Papacito's in Frederiksted, on Queen Mary Highway. I love their pasteles! Not sure of their Holiday hours.

Pasteles are cornmeal based. The cornmeal is mixed with pork, or chicken, and is wrapped in a banana leaf, then steamed. They are soooooo good! Add a little sauce, yum!

Some of the best pasteles are sold by the food booths in the village. My SO buys them in bulk during festival and freezes them to eat throughout the year.

I have the good fortune of my 72-year-old Puerto Rican neighbor making me some delicious pasteles. He makes them during holidays traditional sylte and with cassava and banana for the masa. He puts in whatever you want, lobster, conch (when in season) or vegetarian in addition to pork and chicken, etc. I've tried to convince him to sell, but he doesn't think it's worth it. IM me and maybe you can convince him to do so!
Best wishes
