Should I be worried shipping USPS Parcel Post?

even if you insure your packages, you would have to provide the sales receipts for the items or the post office won't honor paying you the insured amount. It's a scam and a half, especially if you're sending household items you've owned for years and don't; have years worth of receipts to prove the purchase prices, etc.

If you insure it take a picture of the package with the address clearly visible. They denied my claim because they said "package undeliverable as addressed"

My package was returned months later with the From and To addresses clear and accurate. I don't think they ever pay out.

We were paid on a claim & only had to show a valuation of contents - not original receipt - and bring in the damaged box & contents. It did take about a month to get the check but it came.

I just shipped two large boxes containing my work computers weighing about 55 lbs each from Texas to STT and it took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive. I did insure it. Both boxes were in great shape when they arrived. I did tape the crap out of it though and the boxes were filled to the brim. I used my bed sheets and pillows as fillers. It kept my monitors protected and I was able get my bedding here. Killed two birds with one stone!
