I have an idea for a theme, but why should I post for free? They pay "consultants" big bucks to say the same thing about each island they have a contract with. That's why the marketing is so similar. They should use visitor reviews and Trip Reports in their ads, and real people testimonials. Very frustrating with all the limited thinking.

Apply for a job in Tourism - or let them know you have a plan in which they might be interested. Or contact whichever ad agencies they work with. Not much point sitting on brilliant ideas when your aim is apparently to improve the promotion of STX..

Hire these guys

Hey what the hell??

If you want to be honest, you could say "One of the few places with a higher murder rate than Detroit".

Glass houses, stones, my friends.

OT, they know me, but they are trying to keep their jobs. It is never about what's best for VI. They recently had layoffs, and more expected.

Chris, that video is out of the box thinking which our islands need. Everybody is promoting beaches, water, sea life, relaxing, etc. They need an outside the box agency (or me!).

I don't think we need that "outside the box" thinking..

You may all soon be seeing my own video much like that one on YouTube.
I have been inspired. It must be all the GMOs in my brain 😉

If I'm not mistaken, the first new world inhabitant killed by the Columbus "discoverers" was on STX,......Hmmmmm,...........not sure you could put a spin fast enough on that fact to make it desirable : (

There are many worse places to die, imo. After all, you're already in paradise.

Ok, who do we call to start making T Shirts??? Maybe put some petroglyphs on the front to make it culturally sensitive.

Denvertired can open a CafePress store. We can order what we want with his saying. Andrea of AandA2VI can design.

Somebody needs to copyright!

Copyrights are automatic as soon as they are posted/published. Hooray for Denver!

Yes, but easier to sue for damages if on file. Small fee to file, plus we want shirt w art recorded.
