Your Feedback on New Message Board

Like the "like" button.

Is there still a "mark all topics read" button?  That was useful to quickly identify which topics were new.

Looks good, is there a way to sort posts by most views or comments rather than the by the latest posted?

All the way at the bottom of the topics is where you can find “mark all read” button

@tedc: Yes the "like" option is a nice addition. And Iceman pointed you to the "Mark all Read" button. Thanks Iceman. 

@Fishbait: we are checking through the back-end options to see if other sorting features are included that we can enable. Will get back to you on this.

Liked the old format better, tho.

Because I registed as Jumbie many years ago I could not reset my password for that account. Your system does noy recognize either of my 2-cuyent e-mail addresses. I have no idea what e-mail address was used over 10 yrs ago to register Jumbie.

I had to set up a new account removed link It is OhioJumbie. Is there any way I can retrieve my saved private messages from Junbie acct?

Bottom line - I do not like your new web site.

Agree with everyone else about the like button. Still getting use to the new format.

So you're going to dislike the new board even more in a couple seconds... the private messages were not successfully moved to new board, we are still fighting with it.  ? So we will have to get back to you on retrieving saved PM's. 

Username, lets get your old account fixed if we can.

I liked the little red flags indicating unread messages and the ability to click any page of a multi-page thread from the main forum page that were on the old web site.  New site only shows unread as bold and have to open page one of a thread in order to go to another page of that thread.

The entire way it looked and ease of seeing who posted what last.

Plus seeing how many posts oon topic and being able to edit if necessary.

I am hoping that you can retrieve our private messages. I had so many from our Swans. I miss her so much and sometimes go back and read her messages. Also from Trade, Lizard and trw.

I no longer use the E-mail account I used when I registered. (I used to have several and have phased some out over the years) So I had to register as a new user with a new user name. Would have preferred to be able to log in with my original user name (special) and change my password then. But understand it wasn't an option.

I found the old look more pleasant on the eyes.

Hello, We heard ya with the comments related to features from old board...

colored icon indicating unread
entire way it looked
who posted last
how many posts on a topic
private messages
etc.

We went through and made the new board look and act as much like the old one as we could, including the items above and we got old PM's moved!   ? 

Is there a way to go straight to the first unread post in a thread?

Can you tell me please how to look into a thread, maybe the option is not available anylonger?

I cant figure out how to look for the Bee removal Honey man. 

Also I dont seem to have access to my old posts?

@cardanne In the green bar above the title you will see a magnifying glass on the right side. Click on this and you will be able to search the forums.

I typed in Bee removal and found the following post:  https://www.vimovingcenter.com/talk/generalrelocating/bee-removal/

To see your old posts click on the drop down arrow next to my Profile on the top right side, click on Account. This will bring you to your user account.

Click on activity and you will see all your old posts.

I don't know that busy is how I would describe it but I think the main page is  quite drab, with not much color contrast everything washes together
