We've are looking at houses to purchase. Does anyone know of any STX FSBO houses? We watch the MLS and craigslist daily. I thought I would post here to inquire if anyone is listing their house FSBO or know of a friend/neighbor thinking about selling their house. We have been living here a while and looking to jump from renting to owning. Please feel free to PM! Thanks!

Why would you limit your search to FSBO properties only?

We are not limited to FSBO. We are looking at listed houses as well. We want to keep our options open to all and some properties are word of mouth.

Its rare to see FSBO homes for sale here. The process of buying a home or property is very complex compared to other places and a knowledgeable realtor can be a valuable asset in managing the process. But...good luck either way!

Yes I agree. However, we know a few people who have found houses through word of mouth and we don't want to miss something. However, if we end up purchasing FSBO we may ask our realtor assist with closing for a fee.
