Please PM me if anyone knows of a 2BD apartment, house or condo willing to take small house trained dog(5pounds fully grown). Willing to spend up to $750 a month and if possible utilities included. Also, willing to do month to month lease. Or up to 4-5 months lease.

Which island? That is a pretty low rent, especially including utilities. Make sure you look at both the apartment and the neighborhood before you commit.

I do not think that your price is anywhere in the ball park in STT. You MIGHT get a studio for that but even that I doubt it.

Look in the island trader. That will tell you about what range the rents are.

Better rethink your plans to move here.

I don't think its unreasonable, (maybe not including utilities).Lots of rentals available on st croix and more to come. I think long term rental fees may be coming down. Buyers market at the moment. Lots of folks leaving the island and not necessarily because they want to.

A 2br apartment on STT, in an area you'd want to live, is going to be $1400+ with utilities included.

Too bad they never put which island. Yes, St Croix would be the place although I think employment will be hard now.

So, just curious. If rent is so unaffordable in stt, where do the lower income folks live? You know...teachers, post office employees, professionals that make less then 35k, or even mcdonalds and gas station attendents...? They have to live somewhere.

There are apartments all over that folks of all walks of life rent. Not everyone getting off a plane is comfortable renting in tese areas.
