Applying for a position in Education

Good Morning,

I'd like to relocate to the USVI, preferably St. Croix. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and am passionate about teaching children with special needs. I have applied for a special education teacher position with the district and sent over all required paperwork to "get the ball rolling". Does anyone know what the response time is like and the level of difficulty when attempting to obtain employment, being that I am not a local?

I don't have an answer. I just want to wish you luck. My neighbor moved to STX from teaching in Alaska for several years. After one year, she quit! She now works less, makes more money and gets paid on time by waiting tables at a local Restaurant/Bar.
Her experience is more common than not. Do a lot of research so as not to be disappointed!
