Applying for a position in Education
I'd like to relocate to the USVI, preferably St. Croix. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and am passionate about teaching children with special needs. I have applied for a special education teacher position with the district and sent over all required paperwork to "get the ball rolling". Does anyone know what the response time is like and the level of difficulty when attempting to obtain employment, being that I am not a local?
I don't have an answer. I just want to wish you luck. My neighbor moved to STX from teaching in Alaska for several years. After one year, she quit! She now works less, makes more money and gets paid on time by waiting tables at a local Restaurant/Bar.
Her experience is more common than not. Do a lot of research so as not to be disappointed!
The initial phase in the application procedure is understanding regardless of whether you even meet all requirements for the activity. Your Write My Essay application normally won't go straight to the employing board of trustees.
I am nobody, but I lived on island for two decades before going back home to California and Pennsylvania. The VI has been good to me. If you have the correct paperwork, and I know you do--you are an educator. If you want to teach in the USVI you will! And if you want to bring your expertise, passion, and talent to the Education Dept. after they are convinced you are who you say you are, there is no reason why your [paperwork is the key] paperwork efforts won't get you what you know they are worth. Much success gathering necessary papers to educational endeavors that are so badly needed by a patient few. Notice, once on island, very few leave. They simply use their skills in other ways.
