There is a very good chance my wife and son will be moving with me to STT late summer. She will be stay at home mom with our now 6 month old son. She was wondering if people look for babysitters since she would be available to do that.

They do. She should start to network after she gets on-island.

No. No one will hire you to watch his/her child until you are standing in front of them.
