This Sunday, Sept 6th at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort come to the Beach Fyah 6 starting at 2 pm. Local reggae and soca musical performers. Should be a great time! http://www.shantyvibes.com/concerts/Beach_Fyah.html

It was an awesome time! Not a huge turnout but great just the same. Good people, good food, great message! It was all about it takes a village to raise a child. And such a peaceful feeling as you left. It was very wholesome and good. Kwanzaa365 and Mode Afrika are great organizations and did a very good job with this. The music and drumming were terrific as well as the poetry/reading by the UVI Students.
They have announced the next one - Beach Fyah 7 will be held sometime in December on St. John.
Hope more can make it to this - while it imbibes the rasta/islander/Afrikan spirit and culture I will attend all of them I am able. It renewed my faith in people.
