Do you mean the 6th or the 13th ?
I'm good either way.

That's fine with me if I can bring my friend who will be visiting that week. I'm sure she would love to go. I can have her read the book when she gets here if she wants to, otherwise I'll just have her sit quietly 🙂

I'll be there on the 6th. Dropped by last noc, my computer was down so I didn't hear about the change. Looking forward to it. What time? Can't wait at the bar, too smokey for me.

Suzette,

Have your friend join us! The more the merrier.

Cathy,

Sorry, you didn't hear about the cancellation... If the smoke bothers you at Deano's, let's go to a different place. We had suggested Deano's so that the North and West Siders didn't have to drive so far this time. Do you have a different suggestion? Or we can just meet at Kokopelli's again. I'm sure we're all flexible.

No problem with Deano's, I can even walk there. The smoking's only at the bar area. If you all want a more central locale, Suzette and I can car pool!

I wouldn't mind going to Deano's. It would force me to get out of the East End for a change!

Are we on for "Don't Stop the Carnival" tomorrow at Deano's? What time? I've heard good things about their potato-crusted grouper, will come hungry. What's a head count in case I get there first to eat?

Hi everyone,

Matt and I will be heading over together. I get off work at 5:00 and will pick him up. We'll be there at around 6:00. I will definitely be eating! How about if people want to eat, come a bit earlier at 6:00. Janet and Suzette we'll be there so just come when you can.

See you all soon!
Shawn

I've been googling book lists since we met tonight and my head is spinning. "Water for Elephants" is getting great reviews. I've also always wanted to read "Night" by Elie Wiesel. More suggestions later.

I've heard about Honeymoon with my Brother, it's supposed to be good. I'd read that. Plus it sounds light and amusing-much like our last book.

Even though I am not there yet, I've decided to keep up with the book club. I've finished the book - I'm sure you'll all enjoy it!

I won't be relocating until after the first of the year - but I may be down at the end of October for a visit.

Trw:

No date was set but the group decided on Beni Iquanas for the next meeting location. Once everyone approaches the end I'm sure they will start posting potential meeting times, looks like an every other month meeting schedule. So I would expect a meeting sometime in November.

Have a good day.
