Hi, I will be moving to STX within the next month or so and I was wonder about the number and variety of churches on the Island. Are there a lot of churches or are they few and far between? Is there one dominant denomination like Catholic or Presbyterian or is there a mix? Are they all very traditional and conservative or are there some more contemporary ones? That kind of thing.....

Thanks a lot!

Thanks, how about any specific ones? Does anyone go to one that they would recommend?

When my daughter-in-law lived of STX, she attended Holy Cross Catholic Church downtown.
