Does anyone know anything about the First Fridays in Christiansted?
I know they are on the first friday of every month, but I don't know too much besides for that.
What's the deal?

Yeah. On some of the street corners there are live musicians (I recall a steel pan band on Strand Street, and a blues/jazz deal up on the post office corner). A few of the stores stay open a little later (like, until 9pm) and have a sale. It's not anything close to Jump-Up, but its cool to walk around and have music.

I also heard on the radio this morning that some of the restaurants have deals.
Does anyone know of any good deals restaurants run for First Friday?

The paper advertisement said that "area restaurants" will have "special deals" or something ambiguous like that.... I'd love to know if you find out though!
