Hello everyone!
My fiance and I are moving to Christiansted on August 1st from Washington. We will be attending the University and hopefully both working through the Department of Education. I am not sure if the University will have a gym (w/ treadmills, other cardio equipment, and free weights), but would like to know if there are any other fitness centers on the island. I'd like to find out about some dance, yoga, or kick boxing classes as well. Please let me know if you know about anything!:)

Hey Risa314,
There are two gyms by C'ted. Paradise Gym and the Rehabilitation Center. Both have packages but a month are both approx $85/month. Rehabilitation Center may be a few more $ but in my opinion is worth it. Both have the machines you are inquiring about but Paradise is kinda dumpy. It seems that rehab center has more classes you are looking for. I don't know what UVI has. i wouldn't be surprised though if they had a gym. Its a nice campus.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help:) We are so very excited about our island move to St. Croix! I guess I will find out what the University has and if not....go to the Rehab center. It probably will be worth it to be more comfortable in a nice enviroment.
