Is there a parade on Saturday? I can't find any info except for the pre-published calendars. Expected to see signs in town, ad in the Avis, or something. Maybe I just missed them.

it's at 2 PM on the boardwalk this Saturday. If you use Facebook, they have a Mardi Croix page where you can find the events, times and locations for all the Mardi Croix related activities. They already had a beard/moustache contest on February 5th.

Oh.... and the parade on the north shore will be March 5th, supposed to start at 1 PM.

Thanks. I had already posted on the FB event page, and got no response. It said "info to follow". But they never updated, and never responded to a 2/3 post asking what the theme was. Usually, there's more advertising - posters in town indicating what the theme is, and the Avis prints registration forms. This year nothing, so I'm still skeptical. My dog would be extremely embarrassed to be the only pup on the boardwalk in costume. She has self-esteem issues. 🙂

Finally! Article and ads in the Avis today. Definitely tomorrow, Theme is "Your Nothing But a Hound Dog" (rock &roll). Sorry about my disbelief.

Does anyone know what this years 2012 theme will be? The facebook page does not seem to be updated...
