School has started back. If you have a few hours free in the afternoon from 3-5 pm and would like to help local kids with their homework, we need volunteers. If you can teach these kids a special skill - drawing, beading, etc. , that would be great ,too.
Volunteers to serve the homeless meals in the morning are always welcome. If you could donate to the food pantry or the Clothes Closet.....
This is a wonderful ministry to the poor. We'd love to have you.

stxmama, I'd be interested in serving up breakfast. Is the Lighthouse the one near time square? Where do I sign up?

Heres an idea............can a local artist (I'm way too amature, tho I enjoy it) to teach the kids to paint, then sell their art to benefit the lighthouse mission??
