The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as performed
by the inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the direction of the
Marquis de Sade. 1963 play by Peter Weiss.
Pistarckle Theater will be holding auditions for Marat/Sade a unique theatrical event set in the Asylum of Charenton. The notorious Marquis de Sade has staged a play about the assassination of Jean Paul Marat, the noted Revolutionary, using the inmates of the asylum, as a form of rehabilitation. All seems well until the inmates literally riot and take over the asylum.

AUDITION DATES: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16th 6PM
and MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17th 6PM
Auditions for 9 men and 3 women in leading roles (including 4 singers),
7 small supporting roles and 12 non-speaking roles as inmates, nurses and orderlies.
