Can anybody reccommend a pre-school for a 3 1/2 year old that is enrolling right now and that is affordable?

Also, besides the Dolphins swimming lessons, are there other activities/play groups that I could enroll my son in such as sports, arts or music.

Thanks!!!

Elizabeth

It's possible that I may be bringing my godson with me when I return (though his mother hasn't signed the papers yet, so nothing's set in stone). His mother and I both strongly object to putting him in a Christian program, since she's agnostic and I'm pagan. Is there one on St Croix that's NOT going to cram religious beliefs down his throat, or should I wait till he's older to bring him to live with me?

Stephyjh....You called him your "godson' but don't want" Christian" values crammed down his throat. Sometimes God works on us without us even knowing it.. He loves you and His son. I found opening my heart ..to His love for me...took me to a more peaceful place.

Poor decision making? No. We were roped into having a Christian baptism for him by his grandmother, but his mother insisted that I be the one taking that role so that she could trust that he would be raised in a way she could accept. Thank you for your well-intentioned but deeply unsolicited religious advice, poorthang. And ellyo, I think the poor decision was for you to criticize a situation you don't understand. Does anyone have a legitimate answer to my question?

Try one of the Montessori schools - I think there's one in christiansted town called Star Apple. Also, The stone House schools are nice (one in east, one in west)

If anyone is still looking, we just started my 3 year old daughter at STX Montessori, and we really love it. They are affordable, too. It is a nice, laid back atmosphere.
