I heard yesterday that Island View Guesthouse is reputed to have the best steak on island...from 3 different people! is this true?? Even after living here for a dozen years, I have never eaten there...but, if it's true, I'm gonna try it! Anyone had the steak at Island View in the last coupla months?

I just tried it the other day, its amazing and the prices are rather fair. The owners Ron and Beth are adorable. Also try their tilapia - they grow them on property in fresh water, yummy and healthy!

The kitchen is open wednesday through saturday, and they prefer reservations. Its a small friendly place with crazy cozy atmosphere and a great view. 774-4270

You can go up the road by old mill, the turn on to scott free road (?), first two left hand driveways.
