Hi East Ender-

I'll be there on the 17th. I am volunteering with a friend to lead the kids' games. We are talking about a race with them wearing snorkel fins, a limbo contest, and hermit crab races. We are hoping some area businesses will donate toys to use for prizes. Any suggestions?

hngrindle: Put on a pair of swimfins and try out your race first. Hope you don't fall and get hurt, then put child in same position!! Or at least put age limit on race!

Peggy-

Not to worry, the kids run backward in the fins. Plus, it's on the beach, so if they fall, they fall in sand. I voiced your concern to the games coordinator, and she says they hold this race every year, and there's never been a problem.
